Business Development Manager – Northeast

Location: Richmond, VA

Job Description

Intech Anchoring Systems (Intech) has been supplying commercial and industrial contractors with geo-structural engineering products, materials, and solutions for 20 years. Our focus is to supply project materials to specialty sub-contractors and work with engineers and other specifiers on projects that would benefit from installing our Hydraway Systems. As part of our expansion plan, Intech has an immediate opening for a Business Development / Outside Sales representative with a desire to work for an Industry Leader with a patented product and a reputation for excellence.

In this high-profile position, your principal responsibility will be Business Development and product sales to specialty contractors, distributors, and owner-operators while networking and marketing to specifying engineers located within a defined territory/region. Your main goal will be to sell our Hydraway Drainage System. Other duties will include but are not limited to contract negotiations, daily management of territory development, project support, and collaborating with the in-house engineering team to support our partner’s needs.

Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of experience with territory sales and business development. Experience with project/territory development and business-to-business and/or construction sales is preferred.

Job Type

  • Full-time (M-F), 40 hours a week

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Other requirements include:
  • Extensive product and industry training provided
  • Extensive Travel within Territory – 30% to 50%
  • Working knowledge or experience in general construction and drainage applications would be a benefit
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Familiarity with the contractual requirements of a construction project is a plus
  • Proven experience working effectively as a liaison with Engineers, Sub – Contractors, and Owners
  • Excellent communication, organizational, writing, and computer skills

Administrative Assistant

Location: Caseyville, IL

Job Description

The administrative assistant is a vital team member that ensures the administrative functions of the business are completed in a timely and professional manner. This role completes various tasks throughout the day that are necessary for the successful operation of the business. The right candidate will maintain a positive attitude, stay productive, and operate efficiently in completing all tasks. The administrative assistant will be supporting a variety of ever changing responsibilities related to the daily office functions based on the needs of the Intech Team. The administrative assistant should always work to create a superior customer experience through a positive attitude and consistent engagement and follow through. The dedicated efforts of the administrative assistant will result in a direct impact on the growth and success of the overall business.

Job Type

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Answer phones – front line customer experience – positive demeanor is critical
  • Assist with travel coordination for Intech (airfare, hotel, & conference registrations)
  • Collect and distribute mail daily
  • Assist team with outbound mail and processing
  • Assist office manager in daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as needed
  • New Accounts: Send out credit references verifications (GM or CFO make credit approvals)
  • Assist Sales team in setting up new partners in our accounting system
  • Communicate and distribute leads to the Sales team via our CRM system or email
  • Assist with event planning including industry trade shows and company sponsored events
  • A/R – Prepare weekly AR status update after calls and e-mails are completed
  • Investigate and report the lien rights for each project that goes beyond payment terms
  • Input checks and process credit card payments into the accounting software
  • Coordination of rental equipment calendar updates with sales and operations team members
  • Partner account maintenance to monitor accuracy and record updates to accounting system and CRM
  • Assist with marketing activities to keep marketing activities organized
  • General filing of invoices and bills
  • Maintain inventory of office products and supplies
  • Other general office tasks as needed to support the business functions

Warehouse Associate

Location: Caseyville, IL

Job Description

The warehouse associate has the responsibility to fulfill a wide variety of tasks in our warehouse.  This position is the backbone of service and quality as every product that comes through the warehouse is handled by the warehouse associate.  Product quality, order presentation, and safety are just a few of the responsibilities held by this utility team member.  As a warehouse associate, you will be trained on all areas of warehouse operations including warehouse safety, forklift operation, palletizing material, product branding, and much more!

Job Type

  • Full-time (M-F), 40 hours a week

Duties:

  • Safety is every employee’s responsibility
  • Follow instructions from warehouse manager to complete the efficient operation of the warehouse
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Ensure all orders are palletized for shipping with 100% accuracy and professional appearance
  • Receive and unload inbound freight shipments
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and light machinery to prepare material for storage or shipping
  • Complete physical inventory counts for multiple product lines
  • Maintain and clean rental equipment
  • Operate production line focusing on safety, productivity, and quality
  • Provide high level of quality and accuracy throughout order processing and product assembly
  • Promote our culture of excellence

Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Must be a team player willing to do what is needed to get a task done
  • Must be confident, competent, and self-motivated
  • Must be well organized and able to follow systems to maintain an organized warehouse
  • Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and basic power tools are beneficial

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to walk, reach overhead, and/or crouch for extended periods throughout the day. May need to lift product weighing up to 80 lbs.  This position is physically demanding.
  • Requirement to wear steel-toed boots and jeans/work pants in the warehouse. T-shirts and sweatshirts are provided after a probationary period.  Basic PPE is provided.
  • Background check and drug testing required. The facility is a smoke-free / drug free workplace.
