Support Column System

Force Arrester Support Column System
The Force Arrester Support Column System is a support system for settling and sagging beams in crawlspaces, which affect the floor joists and floors above. It lifts sinking floors back into place and protects against future movement. A home’s support columns can be compromised by a variety of issues, including improper spacing, weakening due to moisture or rot, and settling due to weak soil or poor footings. As the support columns begin to sag and settle, and floors above them do the same. The Support Column System immediately corrects this deterioration.
Benefits
- Engineer design and tested
- Extremely high load capacity (supports weights over 60,000 lbs)
- Powder-coated for rust and corrosion resistance
- Large 14″ x 14″ x ⅜” steel bearing plate to transfer the load to the bearing surface
- Immediate stabilization and lifting capabilities
- Custom fit to any crawlspace height
- Designed to rest on compacted base material, eliminating the need for concrete
- Can be installed in limited-access areas
Innovative Design
- Conventional support systems use concrete blocks, bricks, or wood timber posts to correct the sagging and settling support columns. But these systems are prone to rust or corrosion and aren’t adjustable. Our system is made from strong, corrosion-resistant, powder-coated steel that won’t develop rust and remains adjustable for years. The standard height is 3 feet, but they can be field-cut for customization.
