Our History

The Evolution of Intech Anchoring Systems

In 2017, Midwest Diversified Technologies, Inc. (MDTI) took a significant step by acquiring Intech Anchoring Systems, aiming to broaden and enhance the range of products available to our customer base. We retained the Intech Anchoring Systems name as the company grew and our geographical reach extended well beyond the Midwest.

Initially we were established as a distributor of CHANCE Helical Anchors and Atlas Resistance Piers for the Upper Midwest region, but through the merger with Intech, we not only expanded our product lines but also gave our customers access to cutting-edge solutions such as Carbonbond Carbon Fiber and Epoxy Systems, Magnacore Self-Drilling Anchors, and the highly effective Hydraway Drainage System.

Fast forward to 2023, Intech Anchoring Systems forged a partnership with IDEAL Foundation, becoming the designated Midwestern Distributor of helical piles and underpinning solutions. This collaboration further solidified Intech’s position as a leading provider of innovative and reliable solutions for foundation support and stabilization in the region.

1998

Established in 1998

In 1998, MDTI (now Intech) was established as the regional distribution company for CHANCE civil construction products in the Midwest. Products included Helical Piers, Tiebacks, and Anchors. This opportunity was made available as the CHANCE Company needed to fill the void created by the removal of the previous regional distributor. As a result, an extensive network of dealers and installation contractors was developed throughout the Midwest.

2002

Hydraway Acquisition

In 2002, MDTI acquired the Hydraway product patent, assembly, and wrap line from Solutia (a previous subsidiary of Monsanto). This enabled Intech Anchoring Systems to have complete control over production, distribution, and sales worldwide.  The demand for the Hydraway Drainage Systems continues to grow due to its high compressive strengths, inflow rate, and guaranteed results.

2010

Epoxy & Carbon Fiber Systems

In addition to our structural piering, anchoring, and waterproofing/drainage systems, we began distributing the Carbonbond® Structural System products, featuring carbon fiber products for the use in concrete repair and epoxy and urethane sealants.

2011

Distributor of Hollow Bar Self-Drilling Anchors

In 2011, MDTI became the national distributor for Magnacore® SDA. Intech Anchoring Systems added business development managers in order to create brand awareness among contractors and engineers throughout an expanded territory.

In 2017, Midwest Diversified Technologies, Inc. acquired Intech Anchoring Systems as an opportunity to expand and enhance the product lines available to MDTI’s existing customers.

2021

Force Arrester Was Developed

In 2021, Intech added the patented Force Arrester line of the Wall Brace and Support Column Systems. Force Arrester™ Wall Brace System, exclusively offered by Intech, is an innovative and economical solution for bowing, buckling, tilting, and shifting basement walls. The Force Arrester is a patented  structural beam support solution for both load-bearing and non-load-bearing basement foundation walls. The Force Arrester Support Column System replaces the conventional concrete block, brick, and wood timber posts by providing superior support to existing beams and floor joists in your crawl space.

Ideal Partnership Was Forged

In a transformative move that reshaped its business landscape, Intech Anchoring Systems embarked on a significant journey in 2023 by becoming an integral part of the prestigious Ideal Foundation Group. This strategic decision marked a crucial turning point for Intech, bringing about a departure from their long-standing partnership with CHANCE. By aligning with the Ideal Foundation Group, Intech Anchoring Systems aimed to tap into new synergies and leverage the collective expertise and resources of this prominent organization.
