Earth Anchor Systems

Earth Retention

We Know Earth Movement.

Developing a strategic earth retention plan for your project is easily manageable with our support. When choosing earth anchors  a contractor may need insight into soil conditions and the proper tools for moving soil. Understanding the proper earth anchors needed is an essential Geotechnical insight you may not have experienced in projects prior. That’s where we come in.

For Your Project Sites Requiring Earth Retention

Our anchors + supporting elements can provide earth shoring systems that will retain soil that is prone to instability due to excavations or existing structures. A few common applications for these stabilization products range from commercial to residential and industrial requirements.

Earth Shoring

Earth shoring practices are best designed to avoid cave-ins in construction projects with unstable soil during temporary rebuilds or areas that have potential concerns of collapsing soil. Shoring allows for extra support when a structure needs to be propped up.

Structure Stabilization

Ensuring the stability of your structure starts with acquiring the proper anchoring supplies specially designed to fit your project’s needs by a Professional Engineer.

Bulkhead Support + Remediation

When your project relies on added bulkhead support for space divisions or remediation efforts related to earth retention improvements – maintaining the proper anchoring tools will optimize your stability.

Earth Retaining Tools

Tieback Anchors

Tieback Anchors – Our Magnacore Self-Drilling Anchors combine drilling, placing, and grouting into one step. The IDEAL Helical Tiebacks have helical bearing plates welded to a central steel shaft. The load is transferred from the shaft to the soil through these bearing plates. The elements are then tested and post-tensioned to engage with the wall system (soldier pile and lagging, sheet piling, etc.) to complete the earth retention system.

Soil Nailing

Soil Nailing or Soil Screws – Using either Magnacore Hollow-Bar Micropiles (Soil Nails) or IDEAL Soil Screws (Soil Screws)  hollow, threaded steel rods, we our elements can help passively stabilize slopes and structures at shallow or deep excavation depths.

The design and construction of an earth anchor is often complex due to the soil structure, depth of the groundwater, weather, superimposed loads, seismic loads, and adjacent construction. Our Profesional Engineers assist with the design of practical and economical earth retention systems for any structure or any conditions.
